EXPLORIUM DESIGN, has designed and developed numerous Flash animations and websites. From Fully-emersive visual sites to business-oriented diagrams and tutorials, we've been there, done that. While the need for Flash-based websites may be on the decline, there will always be a need for solid marketing animations or interactive modules that Flash is the only viable solution for.

For the past 8 years, Explorium Design has designed and maintained the website for Rockstar Transportation based in Santa Barbara, CA. Every year the owner of Rockstar Transportation requests new features or design elements being added to the site and this year was no different.
This year, we completely revamped the site layout as well as created an HTML-only version. Previously the site was only available as a Flash website but with the emergence of the iPhone and iPad there was an increased need for a non-Flash option.
So we set about to replicate the Flash version site using only HTML, CSS and Javascript. The goal was to emulate as much of the animations as possible using only Javascript (and jQuery) instead of Flash. Overall, we think it was a successful effort.
